Getting to the "Duck Pond" Car Park, Falkland Estate.
Make your way to the village of Falkland - it’s on the A912 from Glenrothes/Cupar to Perth. Falkland Palace is one of Fife’s main tourist attractions and is well signposted.
When you get to Falkland, turn into the main street (East Port), which is where you can find Falkland Palace.
Pass the palace on your right, and continue up the street until you see the Bruce Fountain (in the middle of the square). Drive past the left side of the fountain, and you will see a road going straight on (High Street) to the left of the violin shop.
Take that road. It is very narrow, so please take care.
Continue until the road bends sharply to the left. At this point, a side road (West Port) goes off to the right.
Take that road. It is also very narrow, and there may be pedestrians, so please take care.
Continue until you arrive at the stone pillars that mark the entrance to Falkland Estate. Pass through the gate. DO NOT TURN IMMEDIATELY RIGHT INTO THE CAR PARK - a one way system is in operation. Instead, continue straight on for approx. 100 metres and turn in at the large notice board.
If you’re using a Sat-Nav, the postcode to enter is KY15 7AF. What 3 Words - ///forgiving.leave.path.
There is no charge for parking in this car park, but be sure to park within a marked bay. Falkland Estate is a popular place for tourists and it can get busy, but you should get a space.
